Mie, Japan, - ZPI, Inc., of Japan, maker of high-end, tuning parts for fishing reels, is pleased to announce the partnership with two Bassmaster Elite Pro anglers.

Office ZPI is located at Suzuka city, Mie Prefecture, well-known as the most advanced city of motor sports in Japan. Tsuyoshi Kato, CEO of ZPI, is versed in the best relationship between equipment (motor cycles for racing) and riders. He believes that it has a lot in common with the relationship between anglers and fishing tackles.

“We work hard to make it easier for anglers to control reels as they imagine.” To realize this goal, ZPI has been developing specialized tuning parts for fishing reels using racing technology. In motor racing world, it is said that technology evolves most effectively in competition. If so, we must improve our technology by diving into fishing tournament events. ZPI started a challenge at tournaments in 2002 and achieved several major titles in Japan until 2017.

To experiment with this technology at Bassmaster Elite Series in 2017, ZPI unofficially supported an angler and he won AOY of 2017. We were surprised at this amazing result of our first support. Then we decided to officially support two Bassmaster Elite pro anglers to prove that it’s not just a coincidence.

First, Mr. Aaron Martens, the legend, and three-time AOY who is well known for his remarkable achievements and his attention to detail. He has been used ZPI products for the past several years.

We expect our cutting-edge technology combined with his experience bring great results in the near future.

Second, Mr. Dustin Connell, who is young and will start his second year of Elites in 2018. He already won his first Bassmaster Elite tournament at Mississippi's Ross Barnett and won ROY in 2017. We expect that his potential is released explosively by ZPI’s tuning technology.
We have generated products through improving our technology at tournament events and these products contribute to enhance performance and prolong life of fishing reels. With such efforts, we believe that many anglers who want to utilize their reels as much as possible embrace ZPI products. The most promising products are F-Zero Oil and SiC-BB.
Successes of two anglers officially supported by ZPI will open the way for making ZPI products well known and developing sales in US. It is our fervent hope that as many anglers as possible to meet truly beneficial tuning parts. They will get them soon.
