Moore, OK - Last week's Elite Series tournament on the St. Lawrence River was a smallmouth bass slugfest for the ages.  Matt Lee opened the tournament with a limit of smallmouth bass weighing 27-12 - a new single day weight record for smallmouth bass in an Elite Series tournament. 

In total, 52 anglers crossed the stage with at least a 20-pound limit of smallmouth on Day 1.  When it was all said and done, Josh Bertrand weighed in over 95 pounds of smallmouth to win the tournament.
