MURRAY'S LOOK BACK AT T-BEND

Moore, OK – Exactly one year ago today (April 9th, 2017), John Murray posted the third win of his B.A.S.S. career at the Elite Series stop on Toledo Bend.  Over the course of the four days of competition, Murray weighed-in 77-10 in Toledo Bend Largemouth, including a 23-7 limit on Saturday and a 24-15 limit on championship Sunday. 

The victory was made even more special considering the fact that it was Murray’s first B.A.S.S. win since the 2004 Bush Shootout on the James River. 

Following his victory on Toledo Bend, he divulged that he relied primarily on the same spot where he won the 2003 Open Championship on Toledo Bend – the first win of his career with B.A.S.S.
