Seth Feider entered the final regular season stop of the 2016 Elite Series season earlier this month on the Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wisconsin in serious jeopardy of finishing outside the Top 50 in the Toyota Angler Of the Year point standings and missing the TAOY Championship on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota.

Feider pulled out all the stops on the Mississippi River, finishing in 2nd place and sneaking into the Top 50 in the point standings.  As a result, he qualified for the TAOY Championship on his home lake of Mille Lacs.

Entering the Championship, Feider knew that he had little to no chance to move up in the point standings enough to qualify for the 2017 Bassmaster Classic, but he still wanted to showcase the Minnesota fishery known for giant bags of smallmouth.

The tournament favorite didn't disappoint, averaging over 25-pounds a day to win the tournament comfortably with a total weight of 76-5.  He missed out on the 2017 Classic, finishing in 47th place in the TAOY standings, but he garnered lots of attention and gained some serious momentum with his victory on Mille Lacs.

The BASS ZONE was on-location to capture how it all went down.  Here's a recap of Seth Feider's incredible week on Mille Lacs Lake:
