Post Falls, ID– Buck Knives announced that it has extended an endorsement agreement with Bassmaster® Elite Series Angler Bill Lowen, of North Bend, Ohio. The relationship began in 2009 and grew throughout the year.

“Our market research showed us the significant overlap of people who both hunt and fish,” said Bob George, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Buck Knives. “This first year proved that out as we were welcomed by fishermen with open arms and enjoyed significant growth in our brand image and awareness.”

“Integrity is an important trait for a company that began in 1902,” said CJ Buck, President of Buck Knives. “Bill demonstrated his integrity this year when he self-reported an infraction at the last tournament. It cost him an appearance in the Classic, but that tells you all you need to know about Bill Lowen and why he was selected the first ever member of our national pro staff.”

Buck will provide knives for special promotions by Lowen at all Elite Series events again this year. Lowen’s truck, Skeeter boat and jersey again will feature the popular Feather ‘Flage “Ducks in a Row” camo pattern, along with the Buck Knives logo prominently featured. Lowen will be at the Bassmaster® Classic in February.

Arguably the most famous name in sports cutlery, Buck knives are available in a wide range of designs, made specifically for end users in three categories, headed by Outdoor, which encompasses hunting, camping and hiking, fishing, and survival. Rounding out the categories are Everyday knives and tools; and Legacy collectibles.
