Norman, OK - Elite Series pro, Ish Monroe, is back for the third season of his television show, “Yo, Ish!” on ESPN2. Each three to five minute segment of “Yo, Ish!” will air Saturday mornings beginning the first weekend in April. Monroe is dedicating season three to the big bass. 

“This year, we are calling it “Yo, Ish!” Big Fish Season Three and we are wanting big bass questions because I’m from California where there are a lot of big bass and I’m known for catching a lot of big stringers,” Monroe told The BZ. 

Fans can go to www.espnoutdoors.com or www.bassmaster.com and click on the “Yo, Ish!” link to ask Monroe a question which may be selected to be answered on the show. 
“What we are doing is once again leaving it up to the fans to ask the questions,” Ish explained. “12 lucky fans get their questions answered on “Yo, Ish!” and one lucky angler could possibly get the opportunity to get to fish with me down on Lake Falcon.”

For Monroe, the opportunity to film another season of the show is exciting. “The series has been awesome. I think that it really puts the fans in contact with me and gives me the opportunity to give back,” he said. “I get a lot of questions from kids which is great because it means that they are going to espnoutdoors.com and bassmaster.com and looking at all the other outdoors things that are there, which is great.” 

Monroe noted that he personally answers as many questions as he can even if they are not selected to be featured on the program.
