Washington, MO - – Bass Edge has announced Pam Martin-Wells’ second appearance on the popular fishing television show will air in March and June 2009 on the Outdoor.

The former Women’s Bassmaster Tour Champion said “she had a ball” fishing Nov. 13-14 on Florida’s St. Johns River with Host Aaron Martin and the Bass Edge crew.

“We were challenged with the tide being affected by the full moon. However, we were able to catch a lot of fish and some good quality fish as well,” said Martin-Wells.

“Fishing on the St. Johns was great. I enjoy fishing the area. I look forward to fishing with Bass Edge in the future,” she added enthusiastically.

The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Bass Edge crew to Palatka Nov. 10-16. Martin said the bass were schooled up -- caught on and below the surface. "It was great to be back in the boat with Pam. We were able to put our heads together to figure out the tidal bass,” said Martin. “Not to mention how much fun we had at such a great destination!"

Bass Edge filmed its third season in high definition on fisheries from Florida to California and Minnesota to Texas. On each episode, a pro angler joined Martin to teach viewers of all skill levels, the fundamentals and finer points of bass fishing.

In addition to Martin-Wells, co-hosts for Season 3 include former Bassmaster Classic champions Denny Brauer and Boyd Duckett, 2007 FLW Cup winner Scott Suggs, Bassmaster Elite competitors Dave Wolak, Randy Howell, Jared Lintner, James Niggemeyer, Kurt Dove and others. 

The third season of Bass Edge premieres on Outdoor Channel Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009. The show will air Thursdays at 8 a.m., Fridays at 9 a.m. and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m.

The St. Johns episode with Martin-Wells is scheduled to air on Outdoor Channel March 12-14 and June 11-13. The Percy Priest, Tennessee episode with Martin-Wells is now part of the Bass Edge Season 2 DVD, available on www.bassedge.com.
