Cookson, OK - Entries are being accepted for the 2008 Jack Houston Memorial FOCAS Tournament which will be held on September 20, 2008 on Lake Tenkiller. The Big Bass exact weight match prize this year will be a 2008 Chevy Silverado 4WD Crew Cab donated by Yates Auto Mall valued at $35,235.

Entry forms may be picked up at any Jimmy Houston Marine location or at the Jimmy Houston Outdoors Store in Park Hill, Oklahoma. You may also request an entry form by calling 918-457-5115. Entry fee is $200 per two man team. Tournament registration will be held on Friday, September 19 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Jimmy Houston Outdoors Store located at Keys. Take-off position is determined by the order of entry.

Cash and/or merchandise will be awarded through 50th place. First prize is $2,500 cash plus merchandise, second prize is $700 cash plus merchandise, third prize is $300 cash plus merchandise. Prizes will be awarded through 50th place.

Two boats will also be awarded as draw prizes to contestants. One is a Ranger bass boat with Mercury Outboard motor, MinnKota electric motor, Delco batteries, and Humminbird electronics. The other is a Tracker aluminum boat. Anyone fishing the tournament could win one of these two boats even if they do not weigh in a fish!

The tournament is sponsored by the Lake Tenkiller Chapter of the Fellowship Of Christian Anglers Society (F.O.C.A.S.) and is the organizations only fundraiser. Proceeds from the 2007 tournament provided funded the Christmas project for families in need as well as funding the FOCAS Kid’s Day Fishing Clinic.
