Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation Expo Set for Indy......

 Story from Wire Reports

Norman, OK. The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) and popular BASS professional angler Gerald Swindle will take center stage, along with the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, tennis legend Billie Jean King and Olympians Carl Lewis and Rafer Johnson, at the 2007 National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Congress & Exposition being held Sept. 25-29 in Indianapolis, Ind.

NRPA anticipates more than 10,000 people will attend the opening night Welcome Party event at the RCA Dome, which kicks off the five-day conference for park and recreational professionals and citizen advocates. Featuring a variety of interactive sports activities, attendees will be able to hang out with Gerald “G-Man” Swindle, who will sign autographs and share fishing experiences with the crowd. Swindle, who is sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, will display his custom-wrapped Triton Boat.

“This is a great opportunity to showcase fishing and boating alongside other high profile professional sports,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “We also get to promote our great partnership with NRPA and the Take Me Fishing Community Initiative program in more than 300 parks across the country.”

Welcome Party attendees will also have the opportunity to step out on the same turf as Super Bowl XLI MVP Peyton Manning, get a sneak peek of the Colt locker rooms, have their picture taken with Colts player, cheerleaders, and the world famous Lombardi Trophy, volley with tennis great Billie Jean King, see the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Fan Experience and (International Racing League) IRL race car, meet a professional driver and test their skills on a remote controlled NASCAR track
