Jasper became acquainted with the fishing industry by becoming the title sponsor of Wal-Mart FLW Tour Pro Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Ill., and Jasper’s Vice President – Director of Marketing, Tom Schrader said that the company is aware of the place fishing has in the hearts of automotive technicians. “A recent survey shows that more than 2/3 of automotive repair technicians list fishing as their favorite pastime,” Schrader said. “We want them to know that Jasper understands their needs as professionals, as well as their hobby.”
BASS ZONE viewers should note that Jasper is heavily involved in the sport of stock car racing as well. Schrader said that they are looking forward to establishing cross promotional activities that will bring bass anglers and race fans together; something that few companies can accomplish so neatly. |
“We will be developing contests in conjunction with The BASS ZONE that will allow fans to win a day on the water with Chad [Morgenthaler] along with opportunities to win tickets to NASCAR races,” Schrader revealed. “These two great sports are uniquely intertwined, and Jasper is very excited to be a part of this partnership with Mark and the BASS ZONE.”
BASS ZONE .com founder Mark Jeffreys is equally as pleased. “Being on location
is the best way to cover the sport of professional bass fishing,” said Jeffreys. “It has been a dream to see the enormous response to our on location coverage of the Bassmaster Elite Series, and now we can give that same level of commitment to FLW Tour as well with the sponsorship support of Jasper Engines and Transmissions. We are very honored to become involved with such a historic and successful company.”
“This is an exciting time to be a part of the sport of professional bass fishing,” Jeffreys said in conclusion. “We are proud to be a part of it, and are excited to give the FLW Tour pros an opportunity for more media exposure with our on location coverage of the FLW Tour. It truly is all about being there.”
Jasper Engines and Transmissions has also become a sponsor of the nation’s only satellite radio show dedicated to the sport of bass fishing, The BASS ZONE on XM Sports Nation, Channel 144, which airs every Sunday morning at 6:00 and 8:00am, with show replays posted on
