- The counter-rotating blades of a BOOYAH Bi-You Buzz kick out a mighty broad spray, but the impact of this twin-armed buzzbait extends beyond what it does on the water. The BOOYAH Bi-You Buzz has been designated as the latest Lure For a Cure - part of the Angling Against Cancer effort - and a portion of proceeds from every Bi-You Buzz sold will go to the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
The Bi-You Buzz is the fourth edition of Lure for a Cure, but it takes on a different flavor than its predecessors. Past editions were collector sets of pro-signature lures and included Heddon Zara Spooks and Bomber Long As, Fat Free Shads and Fat As.
Although many lure collectors undoubtedly will keep a Bi-You Buzz or two in the original packaging to add to a Lure for a Cure collection, most of these baits will spend time buzzing along weedlines or among stick-ups, allowing anglers to put more fish in the boat while at the same time contributing to an important cause.
Pro anglers who have participated in the Lure For a Cure program include Terry
Segraves, who spearheads the Angling Against Cancer effort, Timmy Horton, Terry Scroggins, Kevin Wirth, Sam
Swett, Peter Thliveros and Roland Martin. Martin, the long-time host of Fishing With Roland Martin, will be promoting this year’s Lure for a Cure on his show and during his travels.
The Bi-You Buzz was introduced as the newest Lure for a Cure last month during the Angling Against Cancer Benefit Dinner & Tournament, which is put on annually by the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau. |
