Santa Barbara, Calif. – The BASS ZONE brought you a sneak peak of a new swimbait video at ICAST in July. We ran into a group of big bait anglers from Southern California that had made a new and different big bait video. Two California anglers, Western Division FLW Series Pros; Shaun Bailey and TRU Tungsten Pro Staffer Matt Newman, head the Big Bait Posse.

sample), and had an opportunity to view the recently released full length version. The Big Bait Posse is different than most fishing videos, in that it is set to hard rock music, and features fast paced footage of The Posse in action, and what these guys do with big baits and giant largemouth will blow your mind.
The video features the entire Big Bait Posse that also includes Bailey’s younger brother Paul, Dave Holoubeck, and Justin Kerr. The Posse has some big name friends and footage of Mike Iaconelli, Aaron Martens and Byron Velvick and his fiancée Mary Delgado are included in the final cut.
The focus of the initial production is entertainment, as opposed to education, but plans are in the works for an educational piece to follow the Big Bait Posse Video. Shaun Bailey explained the concept to BASS ZONE. “We wanted to do a video that shows what can be done with big baits,” Bailey said. “We want people to see the excitement of throwing big baits initially, then get motivated to go out a try them; we are working on an instructional video for later.”
The final production is of the highest quality, The Big Bait Posse contracted the production team that is responsible for the MotoXXX series of freestyle motocross videos; so the production is of the highest quality. Be prepared for some hardcore swimbait action.
